Easter Bunny set to arrive at Fort Steuben Mall

STEUBENVILLE – The Fort Steuben Mall will welcome the Easter Bunny into his garden at 2 p.m. on April 5.

But before his arrival, area children can take part in a flowerpot decorating and flower painting project at noon at center court. The project, part of the JB Green Team’s “Plant Pride, Not Litter” program, is free and open to the first 100 children at center court.

The day’s activities will include Kurt James’ Fun and Games from noon to 4 p.m., with free bounce houses for the kids, as well specialty vendors on hand and a live broadcast from WOGH-FM.

Children and adults can take part in the Country Crafts From the Heart’s “paint and sip” class beginning at 4 p.m.

Also that day, the mall’s Scrambled Eggs promotion will take place. The Easter Bunny has lost his eggs throughout the Fort Steuben Mall, and guests will have to locate the pictures of eggs that have letters on them and then use those letters to form a popular Easter phrase. Accurate entries will be entered to win one of three $50 mall gift cards to be given away at noon on April 11 and 18. Entry forms and promotion details will be available at the customer service area.

The Easter Bunny will be in his garden April 5-19 and will be available from noon to 8 p.m. Mondays through Fridays: 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturdays; and noon to 5 p.m. Sundays.

Bunny break times may vary; see the schedule at the Easter Bunny’s garden. Pet photos with the Easter Bunny will be offered from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. April 9.
