Paris Presbyterian sets outreach programs

PARIS — The Paris Presbyterian Church has announced upcoming outreach programs at the church located at 127 Steubenville Pike.

They will include:

¯ 7 p.m. Friday, “SummerPalooza 2K16 Concert Featuring Matt Hybarger and the Chrisagis Brothers.”

¯ 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 10, “Faithful Women’s Conference: God Mends Broken Hearts.” The event will feature JoAnn Jones, Lori M. Jones, Jennie Newbrough, Patti Barnabei and Becki Hedrick. Tickets are $20 and include lunch. Tickets must be purchased by Thursday.

¯ 10 a.m. Sept. 13 and 27, “Color Me Calm.” Dorothy Jancart leads this class in the adult coloring trend.

¯ 7 p.m. Sept. 16, “An Evening of Music With Tyler Freeman.” Seventeen-year-old Tyler will sing Christian music while accompanying himself on guitar. This will kick off the church’s indoor Friday evening concert series.

¯ noon Sept. 24, Blessing of the Pets and rabies vaccine clinic. Animals must be on a leash or in a cage. Refreshments will be available.

¯ noon Sept. 28, “Coffee With the Author: Peggy Strain.” Strain will discuss her book of devotions, “Reflecting His Light — Devotions Expressing God’s Love,” which she authored with Deb King. A light luncheon will be served.
