Amazing Raise set for Tuesday

WHEELING — Upper Ohio Valley residents will have an opportunity to donate to some of their favorite non-profits as part of the 2018 Amazing Raise, set to be held Tuesday.

The Amazing Raise Ohio Valley is offered through the Community Foundation for the Ohio Valley, with more than 100 organizations set to participate in the annual campaign. The internet-based fundraiser will take place during a 24-hour period, from midnight to 11:59 p.m. It is open to any 501-c-3 non-profit organization in Hancock, Brooke, Ohio, Marshall, Wetzel and Tyler counties in West Virginia, and Jefferson and Belmont counties in Ohio.

Donations can be made online by going to giveov.org. Additional information on the event and participating agencies also may be found on the website. Donations must be a minimum of $10 and residents may donate to more than one organization.
