Hancock Oldtime Fair to kick off today
NEW CUMBERLAND — The Hancock County Oldtime Fair takes place today through Sunday at Tomlinson Run State Park.
Admission today is a donation to the F.I.S.H. Pantry, and $1 on both Saturday and Sunday.
Live entertainment takes place all three days at Shelter 1.
Gates open at 10 a.m. Saturday with a day filled with activities, including K9 demonstrations, the “Barnyard Olympics,” and “Fireman for a Day.”
On Sunday, gates again open at 10 a.m. Featured Sunday are tractor games, an American Classic Car Show, and the “Barnyard Olympics.”
The fair also features crafts and vendors, baked good contests and exhibits.

9-10 a.m. — Exhibits Entered
6 p.m. — Live Entertainment at Shelter 1
7 p.m. — Flag Lowering Ceremony
Saturday
9-10 a.m. — Baked Goods Entered
9 a.m. — Mandatory Tractor Safety Training
10 a.m. — Gates Open to Public and Flag Raising Ceremony
11 a.m. — Homemade Pie Contest/Kids Kookie Kontest; Tractor Games Begin; Live Entertainment at Shelter 1.
Noon to 4 p.m. — Fireman for a Day
1 p.m. — Pie Eating Contest; Local Law Enforcement Demonstration (K9)
2 p.m. — Baked Goods Auction
2:30 p.m. — Barnyard Olympics Begin; The Pedal Tractor Pull
3 p.m. — Live Entertainment at Shelter 1; Local Law Enforcement Demonstration (K9)
5 p.m. — Local Law Enforcement Demonstration (K9)
6 p.m. — Live Entertainment at Shelter 1
7 p.m. — Flag Lowering Ceremony
