Marjorie Fraser

FRASER, Marjorie E. “Marge”, 88, of Steubenville, Ohio, died Sunday, February 3, 2013, at Country Club Manor.

She was born in Steubenville on September 5, 1924, a daughter of the late George E. and Mary Glasoe Fisher.

She was a graduate of White Cross Hospital Nursing School in Columbus and retired from Jefferson County Health Dept. in 1972. Marge was a member of St. Stephen Episcopal Church and a past long-time member of the Dip-N-Dive Square Dance Club.

Preceding Marge in death were her husband, John C. “Jack” Fraser on April 13, 2010; and six brothers; Kenneth, Donald, Benjamin, Robert, John “Fred” and Clyde Fisher.

Marge is survived by three sons; Robert W. (Rachael) Fraser of Jasper, GA, Dr. James A. (Joyce) Fraser of Steubenville and Dr. Bruce A. (Kris) Fraser of Columbus, Ohio; sister, Cora Kirk of Steubenville; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Friends are invited to attend memorial services at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 16, at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, 284 Lovers Lane, Steubenville, Ohio, with Pastor Terry Mohr officiating. No prior visitation. Burial at Fort Steuben.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the church.
