Edna V. Stacey Bogard Riley
RILEY, Edna V. Stacey Bogard, 87 years old of Cecil, died Wednesday, June 19, 2013, after a short illness.
She was born Aug. 14, 1925, in Fairywood, PA, Allegheny County; daughter of the late Wilmer G. and Helen Virginia Cunningham Stacy.
Surviving are three children Carol V. (Dennis) Monaghan of Cecil, George A. Bogard, Jr. of Bridgeville, and Norman H. (Elise) Bogard of Wintersville, OH, two loved step-children, David (Richelle) Riley of Cedar Rapids, IO, and Patricia (Larry) O’Malley, of Piperton, TN, nine grandchildren, Kevin (Christina) Monaghan, Kenneth (Kelly) Monaghan, SR., Jennifer (Ronald) DiCarlo, Tara (Nicholas) Kaplack, Elena and Kevin Riley, Larry (Ryan) O’Malley MD, Kristel (Jeffrey) Thornton, PHD and Phillip O’Malley, thirteen great-grandchildren, McKenzie, Ambrie, Kenneth, Jr., Monaghan, Aubriana DiCarlo, Nicholas, Cooper, and Keith Kaplack, Nataleigh, and Madison Thornton, Taylor and Chase Caldwell, Michael, and Micah DiCarlo, two beloved brothers, Norman K. (Pooch) Stacy of Mingo Junction, OH., and David M. Stacy of Steubenville, OH., and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, George A. Bogard Sr. her second husband, Milford G. Riley and brothers, Harold “Snookie” Stacy, and William “Bill” Stacy, two sisters Betty Roycroft, and infant, Anna Stacy.
She loved reading, oil painting, and doing puzzles. Most of all she loved the Lord Jesus and her family and she volunteered 17 years at Canonsburg Hospital.
Friends will be received 6-8 p.m., Thursday, June 20 at the Coleman-Taylor Funeral Services, 3378 Millers Run Road (Rt.50) Cecil, PA. where service will be held at 8 p.m. with Chaplain Cathy Peternel officiating.
Private interment will be in the Jefferson Memorial Park.
