Wayne J. Dunlevy

DUNLEVY, Wayne J., 54, of Toronto, died unexpectedly Tuesday evening in Trinity Medical Center West at Steubenville.

He was born Nov. 15, 1948, in Steubenville, a son of the late William and Edna Skinner Dunlevy.

He was a graduate of Stanton Local High School and Kent State University.

Wayne was an active local businessman owning and operating American Recycling and A&S Salvage in Hammondsville along with L&W Tire in Toronto. In addition to his work, he was a member of the National Hot Rod Association.

He is survived by his wife, the former Debbie Reed whom he married July 29, 1971; one son, William Dunlevy of Toronto; one daughter, Beth Dunlevy of Toronto; two grandchildren Bryce and Grace Dunlevy; two sisters, Ethel Johnston of Wellsville and Gladys Ruth. Allen of Toronto; and also his best friend and companion his dog, “Blue.”

At Wayne’ s request there will be no funeral services, however, visitation for friends and family will be Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m. in the Sweeney-Dodds Funeral Home at Amsterdam.
