Arthur Tusay

TUSAY, Arthur H. “Art,” 82, of Toronto, OH, passed away Wednesday, August 14, 2013 in the Valley Hospice Care Center North in Steubenville, OH.

Art was born June 8, 1931 in Duquesne, PA, son of the late Michael and Elizabeth Wargo Tusay.

Art was retired from the Boilermakers Union #154 where he was a Superintendent for Simakas Brothers Construction Co. in Pittsburgh, PA; he was a member and Past Master of the Toronto Masonic Lodge #583 F & AM and Art was a veteran of the U.S. Navy having served his country in the Korean War.

Art was a great father, an avid Toronto Red Knight fan, a great fiddler and musician having been a member of the Hardly Herd Band.

Surviving is his wife, Margaret A. ‘Peg’ (Demko) Tusay of home; his four children, Lynda Yanko of Toronto, Mark Steven (Debra) Tusay of Pymatuning, PA, Keith Tusay of Golden, CO and Karen (Bill) Stone of Toronto; his grandchildren, Luke Yanko, Mark Tusay, Jake Stone, Rachael Stone and Jessica Tusay; one brother, Michael (Julie) Tusay of West Mifflin, PA; two sisters, Wilma Candiota of Pittsburgh, PA and Marion Rosko of Atlanta, GA.

Private family services for Art will be held at the convenience of his family.

Arrangements are in the care of the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto, OH.

Memorial donations for Art may be made to either the Toronto High School Athletic Dept. or Valley Hospice.
