Fannie Snyder

SNYDER, Mrs. Fannie Mae, 79, of Steubenville died September 24, 2013, in Pittsburgh, Pa.

She was born October 16, 1933, in Bessmer, Ala., daughter of the late John L. Harvey and Edna Wallace of Coryden, Ind. who survives.

In addition to her father she was preceded in death by her husband, James S. Snyder; step-mother, Mary L. Harvey; two brothers; and four sisters.

She was a graduate of the Bellaire, Ohio Public School System and was a member of the Second Baptist Church where she enjoyed membership in the Women’s Ministry.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her step-father, Ed Wallace of New Salsbury, Ind.; daughter, Theresa Thorn of Steubenville; two sons, James Snyder of Steubenville, Bruce Green of Mingo Junction, Ohio; 16 grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.

Calling hours are Tuesday, October 1, 2013, from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Second Baptist Church. Services are there at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Dr. Calvin McLoyd Jr. officiating.
