Arthur H. Johnson

JOHNSON, Arthur H., 74, of Steubenville, died Tuesday, October 15, 2013. There will be a memorial service Wednesday at 6:15 p.m. at the American Legion Argonne Post 33, 808 N. Fifth St., Steubenville, where he was a member and past commander.

JOHNSON, Arthur H., 74, of Steubenville, died Tuesday October 15, 2013, at Valley Hospice.

He was born December 17, 1938 in Altoona, PA., the son of the late Henry and Edna Drenning Johnson; Arthur is also preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.

Arthur was retired from the Ohio Edison, Sammis Plant where he was a system operator and served his country in US Navy.

Surviving are two daughters, Kathy Johnson and Wendy (Brian) Dubbs both of Altoona; one brother, Rick Johnson of Duncansville, PA., and one sister, Armentha Louise “Min” Fenell of Wintersville; two grandchildren, Amanda White and Samantha Dubbs.

Arthur was an avid Penn State and Steelers’s fan.

Arthur was a past commander and member of American Legion Argonn Post 33.

Services will be private.
