Ronald L. Parker
PARKER, Ronald Lee “Ron,” 71, of Toronto, OH, passed away Monday, November 11, 2013, in Trinity Medical Center West in Steubenville, OH.
Ron was born on September 27, 1942, in Toronto, OH, son of the late Kenneth W. and Sue Mihalik Parker.
Ron was retired from Timet in Toronto, after 47 years, where he worked as an operator in the ultrasonic lab. He was member of the Toronto Fraternal Order of Eagles and the Toronto American Legion Post 86. Ron also was a veteran of the U. S. Army having served his country in the Vietnam War.
In addition to his parents, Ron was preceded in death by his stepfather, Kenneth Chambers; and his brother, Richard W. Parker.
Ron leaves behind his wife, Daisy (Batcho) Parker of home; three sons, John (Becky) of Stratton, OH, Tracy of home and Ronny of New Orleans; two daughters, Tammy Parker and Gina (Rick) Boughton both of Toronto; one sister, Barbara (Tony) Licata of Toronto; his grandson, Anthony (Lacy) Clegg of Toronto; and three great- granchildren, Cameron and Tristan Clegg and Desiree Ruzek.
Following Ron’s wishes there will be no visitation or service. Burial will be held at the convenience of his family.
Memorial donations may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
