COLANGELO, Alexander M., 55, of Weirton, WV, passed away Friday November 29, 2013 at home.
He was born May 11, 1958 in Rochester, PA, son of the late Alex and Antoinette Montelione Colangelo.
He was a member of the 25-year club of Weirton Steel Company, an avid fan of the Pittsburgh “professional” sports teams, those being the Steelers, Penquins, and Pirates. He enjoyed following the West Virginia Mountaineers as well. He achieved getting pleasure in his sport of fishing. He was retired with 30 years as a millright in the tin mill of Weirton Steel.
Surviving are his wife of 35 years, Lisa Tokash Colangelo; daughters, Stephanie Leigh Shomsky (Mark) of Weirton, WV, Alexis Michelle Colangelo (David DeLorenzo) of Carnegie, PA; sister, Roxanne Baker (Ronald) of Weirton, WV; brother, John Colangelo (Deborah) of Canton, OH; canine companion, “Ginger.”
Visitation will be Tuesday December 3, 2013 4-7 p.m. at the Steel & Wolfe Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 380 Penco Road, Weirton, WV.
The funeral/committal service will be held Tuesday at 7 p.m. with the Very Reverend Theodore Shomsky presiding. Interment will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. www.steelandwolfe.com
