Amelia ‘Midge’ Harris
HARRIS, Amelia “Midge,” 94, of Steubenville, entered into eternal life everlasting on Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2014, at Valley Hospice, with her loving family by her side.
She is the daughter of the late Arturo and Myrtle Dayton Pagani; Amelia is also preceded in death by her husband, Frederick R. Harris, brothers, Charles and Edward Pagani, and sisters, Mary Lou Marchese and Emma McWilliams.
Amelia was for 75 years, the anchor for the Harris family, was a Methodist by faith, and a devoted wife, mother, nana, homemaker, caregiver, and seamstress.
Surviving are her son, Frederick A. (Leslie) Harris of Steubenville and her daughter, Sheila H. Ziarko of Steubenville. Five grand children, Trevor, Alexis, Sheila, Amy, and Lora, two great-grandchildren, Jessica and Sarah.
Services will be private and burial will be at Union Cemetery.
