Roselyn DiCocco

DiCOCCO, Roselyn M., 80, of Steubenville, died Friday, January 3, 2014, at Sienna Woods.

She was born July 1, 1933, in Steubenville. She is the daughter of the late John and Assunta “Sue” Tornifoglio DiFonzo.

Roselyn is also preceded in death by her husband, John DiCocco; and two brothers, Robert and Patsy DiFonzo.

Roselyn was the retired manager of the former Metropolitan Life Insurance Company, Steubenville office and was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and it’s CWC; the Gadabouts, Three Score Senior Citizens, Weirton, AARP, and the Women’s Auxiliary of the American Legion Argonne Post 33, Steubenville.

Surviving are her sister-in-law, Mary Ann DiFonzo of Weirton; two nephews, Bob (Rhonda) DiFonzo of Steubenville and John (Jamey) DiFonzo of Dover, OH; three nieces, Michele (David) Jones of Tuscaloosa, AL, Maria (Lonnie) Myers of Gettysburg, PA, and Michalene (Adam) Mills, of Weirton; great- nephews, David, Matthew, Jared, Jacob, Joshua, and Aiden; great-nieces, Danielle, Michaela, Emily, Baylei, and Ciara.

Calling hours are Sunday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd,. Steubenville.

A Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated 9:30 a.m. Monday at Holy Family Catholic Church, Msgr. Gerald Calovini, celebrant. Entombment at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. There will be a vigil service Sunday at 3:45 p.m.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Jefferson County unit of the American Cancer Society, 1212 Jefferson St., Steubenville.
