Ellen M. Gundrum

GUNDRUM, Ellen M. 73, of Wintersville, died Monday, April 7, 2014, at Trinity West ER.

She was born March 25, 1941, in Bloomingdale, the daughter of the late Harry and Clara Beckley Randolph.

Ellen was a homemaker and a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church and the former St. Pius the Tenth Catholic Church.

Ellen was a member of the Fun Seekers, Gold Wing Club, and Dip and Dive Square Dancers.

Ellen is also preceded in death by her brothers, Joseph, Thomas, and George.

Surviving are her husband, Benedict “Ben” Gundrum whom she married December 28, 1957, two sons, Ben of Wintersville and Ronald (Charles) of San Francisco; three daughters, Cindy and Linda both of Wintersville, and Brenda of Hopedale; three sisters, Rita Enochs of Rayland, Ruth (Walter) Miser of Kilgore, and Shirley Thorn of Dover; seven grandchildren; Phillip, Tiffany, Amber, Justine, Eric, Shelby, and Jon-Paul; five great-grandchildren, Madisyn, Kaleb, Laney, Aiden, and Logan.

Calling hours are Thursday 4-8 pm at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd. Steubenville. A Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated 9:30 am Friday at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Msgr. Kurt Kemo, celebrant.

Burial will be private. There will be a vigil service 4 pm Thursday.
