Geraldine Lewis

LEWIS, Geraldine, 90, of Lawrenceville, NJ, formerly of Steubenville, OH, passed away on Saturday, April 5, 2014, at Compassionate Care Hospice at St. Francis Medical Center in Trenton, NJ.

Born in Harrison County, WV, Geraldine received her master’s degree in education from Trenton State Teacher’s College and went on to retire as an administrator from the U.S. Department of Agriculture. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and loved to travel, golf and to play bridge.

Predeceased by her parents, James and Emma (Yost) Freeman; her husband, William J. Lewis; and her son, James T. Lewis.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Jeffrey and Thresea Lewis; her daughter, Lorilyn Lewis; her grandson, James J. Lewis; and her many nieces and nephews in Wintersville, OH and West Virginia.

Cremation will be private and there will be no calling hours at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements are under the direction of Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square, NJ.
