ZULEBA, Helen R., 88, of Burgettstown, died Tuesday, April 1, 2014, in Wyngate Senior Living Community, Weirton, WV.

She was born May 1, 1925, in Washington, a daughter of the late Lawrence and Josephine Stajduhar Steimenger.

She was a 1942 graduate of Union High School.

Mrs. Zuleba worked at several places: Reboard Brothers in Pittsburgh, the Farm Restaurant in Burgettstown, Bobbie Brooks in Washington then retiring from Gladieux Food Catering.

She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church in Burgettstown and its Christian Mothers and Catholic Daughters. She was an avid reader and talented seamstress and homemaker .

Surviving are her daughter, Justine Zuleba of Burgettstown; her son, Larry Zuleba of Jacksonville Beach, FL; her grandchildren, Heather (Glenn) Aeder of Flourtown, and Michael Zuleba of Jacksonville Beach, FL; her great-granddaughter, Zoe Zuleba Aeder and another great-granddaughter soon to be born, and her sister, Mathilda Dluski of Punta Gorda, FL; and five nieces and one nephew.

Deceased are her brothers, Nicholas and Lawrence Steimenger.

Friends will be received from 9-11 a.m., the time of a blessing service on Friday, April 4, 2014, in the Taucher Funeral Home, 23 Erie Mine Road, Burgettstown, with the Rev. Bob Staszewski officiating.

Interment will follow in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery, Burgetstown.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the St. Joseph’s Indian School, P.O. Box 300, Chamberlain, SD 57325.
