James Seabright

SEABRIGHT, James Kahle, 84, of Bethany, WV,<died Monday, April 7, 2014, at Shadyside Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA.

He was born on January 21, 1930, in Elm Grove, WV, a son of the late Archibald and Carrie (Fisher) Seabright.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by three brothers, Allen, Clyde and Melvin Seabright, and two sisters, Dorothy Williams and Nora Hollobaugh.

Jim retired from Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel Corporation where he worked as a mill wright. He was also a farmer and a member of the Brooke County Farm Bureau. He was a member of the Wellsburg First Church of God.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Martha May (Brown) Seabright at home; one son, Pastor, James Seabright and wife, Cecilia of Bethany, WV; two grandchildren, Sarah and Wesley Seabright; one sister-in-law, Bea Seabright of Michigan.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 10th from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Mullenbach Funeral Home, 669 Main St., Follansbee, WV.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 11th from 10 a.m. until time of funeral services at 11 a.m. at the Wellsburg First Church of God on Bethany Pike in Wellsburg, WV with Rev. Cathy Harman, officiating.

Interment will be held privately in Hopewell Cemetery in Hopewell, OH.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Wellsburg First Church of God at 500 Bethany Pike Wellsburg, WV 26070.
