SOGAN, Victor, 88, of Wintersville, passed away Wednesday, May 7, 2014, at Liza’s Place, Wheeling.
He was born Dec. 4, 1925, in Christopher, IL. He is the son of the late Steve and Anna Fodor Sogan, Victor was retired from Weirton Steel, blooming mill, served his country in U.S. Navy during WWII, and was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church Victor is also preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Dahlem Sogan, a son Thomas “TJ” Sogan, and three brothers, George, Steve, and John.
Surviving are his son, George (Mary) Sogan of Lakewood, CO; two daughters, Vicki (Rick) Brozka of Bloomingdale and Debbie (Jeff) Porter of Dublin; a sister, Anna Bates of Brilliant; seven grandchildren, Christopher Sogan, Alana Dressman, Mark Hoffman, Christina Pierce, Carl and Steven Brozka, and Taylor Porter.

Calling hours are Friday 5-8 p.m. at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd. Steubenville. A Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Msgr. Kurt Kemo, celebrant. There will be a vigil service 7:30 p.m. Friday.
