Arlene Jones

Arlene M. Jones, 85, of Scio, OH (Perrysville), died early Sunday morning in the Great Trail Care Center at Minerva, OH.

Born October 12, 1928, in Apollo, PA, she was a daughter of the late Hulbet and Maria Reif Koval.

Arlene was a homemaker and had operated a farm along with her husband, Richard Jones, who preceded her in death on January 10, 2014.

She is survived by a son, Richard (Laurie) Jones Jr. of Scio; a daughter, Melanie (Lester) Dodds of Carrollton; four grandchildren: Andrew (Holly) Dodds, Aaron Dodds, Cody Jones and Amber Jones; and a great-grandson, Brycen Hosey.

In addition to her husband, Arlene was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.

Funeral services will be Thursday, July 17, 2014 at 11 a.m. in Dodds Funeral Home of Carrollton with the Rev. Dan Loomis officiating. Burial will follow in the Perrysville Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4-7 p.m. and Thursday beginning one hour prior to the service.
