Audrey Mills

MILLS, Audrey “Granny” Louise (Harbin), 86, of Colliers, WV, passed away at 12:04 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2016, at her residence under the care of loving family and Valley Hospice.

Audrey was born on Oct. 15, 1930, in Colliers, WV.  She was the daughter of the late Walter Harbin and Margaret (Forester) Harbin.

Audrey is a member of the Colliers United Methodist Church.  Many will remember Audrey for her love and devotion to the Pittsburgh Steelers, watching the birds, and raising a family.

In addition to her parents, Audrey was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph A Mills Jr., a son-in-law, Larry Arnett, five brothers, Walter “Buck”, David, Charles, Billy, and Bob Harbin, and an infant sister, Rose Mary Harbin.

Audrey is survived by her 12 children, Roy Mills of Dillionvale, OH, Patty Arnett of Colliers, WV, Mary “Pewee” (Sal) Drexler of Colliers, WV, Barbara (Larry) Freshwater of Colliers, WV, Faye (Ed) Hvizdzak of Colliers, WV, Linda (Bob) Lovy of New Cumberland, WV, Keith (Sharon) Mills of Weirton, WV, Kitty (Joe) Barnhart of Colliers, WV, Melissa “Mitzie” (Rob) Areford of Lakeville, MI, David (Laura) Mills of Petone, IL, Doug (Michelle) Mills of Weirton, WV, Jennifer (Billy) Cowans of Weirton, WV, 19 grandchildren, Angela (Jason) Mencer, Kim Mills, Steven and Renee Drexler, Heather (David) McDonald, Jason Freshwater, Keli (Clay) Henderson, Andrea (Jeremy) Dodd, Nick Hvizdzak, Chad Spensky, Katie ( Kyle) Cooper, Harley Mills, Marci, Kasey and Brad (Erica) Evans, Jacob and Ben Mills, Lauren and Michael Mills, 11 great-grandchildren, Nathan, Austin, Kyle, Ellie,  Jarod, Max, Alex, Evelyn, Brody, Janessa, Gracie, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2016, from 6-8 p.m, Thursday, Oct. 20, 2016, from 1-3 and 6-8 p.m.  at  James Funeral Home, Follansbee, WV (304) 527-1717 and again on Friday, Oct. 21, 2016, from 10 a.m. until time of Funeral Service at 11 a.m. at Colliers United Methodist Church, Colliers, WV, with Reverend Carl Tribett and Reverend  Donald Stilgenbauer, Officiating.

Interment will follow at St. John Cemetery, Colliers, next to her dear husband, Ralph A. Mills Jr.

The family would like to thank the staff and caregivers of Valley Hospice and the I.C. Care Staff.
