MINTER, Carol Anderson, 74, of Wheeling, WV, died Friday, Feb. 24, 2017, at Ross Heart Hospital of Ohio State Medical Center.

She was born Nov. 3, 1942, in Colliers, WV, the daughter of the late John and Emma Parker Anderson.

Carol shared her love with many and everyone loved her. She loved spending time with her family and friends and was a member of the Red Hat Society, an active board member of the Ferry Glen Church of the Nazarene, and was on the founding committee of Nelson Jordan Center, Wheeling, WV.

In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her loving husband, Frederick Gary Minter, Jr.; brothers, Joseph, John, Lawrence and Frank Anderson; sisters, Elizabeth Gilliam and Jessie Gaines.

Surviving are a daughter, Denise Minter, of Warwood, WV; sons, Kevin Minter (fiancee Brenda McNeal), of Columbus, OH, and Steven Minter (Heather), of Raleigh, NC; sisters and brothers, Pauline Kaiser, Jack Anderson (Carrie), Tom Anderson (Marie), Mary Jackson, Norma Brown, Tim Anderson; grandchildren, Preston, Mackenzie, and Cierra Minter, and Jessica Straughter; great-grand child, Isabella; several nieces and nephews; and her dog, Shadow.

Friends will be received on Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2017, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at Kepner Funeral Home, 900 National Road, Wheeling, WV (304) 232- 2732, and on Wednesday, March 1, 2017, from noon until time of service at 1 p.m. at Kepner Funeral Home , 900 National Road, Wheeling, WV, with the Reverend Rudy McAllister officiating. Interment in Stone Church Cemetery, Wheeling, WV.
