Ray H. Kyler

Ray H. Kyler, 64, of Weirton, passed away Thursday, February 23, 2017, in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA. He was born February 9, 1953, in Steubenville, OH, the son of Joan (Diggs) Kyler of Weirton and the late Jack Kyler.

For 33 years, Ray worked in the heating and air conditioning service industry. He was Catholic by faith, a member of the Colliers Sportsman’s Club, was a gun enthusiast, NASCAR and football fan but truly loved the outdoors, especially fishing. Ray was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps.

In addition to his mother, Ray is survived by his wife, Linda M. (Witt) Kyler of Weirton whom he married January 26, 1990; son, Brent Kyler and his wife, Michelle of Pittsburgh, PA; daughter, Christina Winters and her husband, Dennis Pater of Boardman, OH; sister, Regina Sirback and her husband, Rich of Weirton; four grandchildren, Dylan Brown, Seth Winters, Brianna and Natalya Kyler and several nieces, nephews and great-ºnieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Sunday, 4-8 p.m., at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton, where funeral services will be celebrated 10 a.m. Monday. Rev. Father Anthony G. Thurston will officiate. Interment will follow in St. Paul Cemetery where military services will be conducted by the American Legion Honor Guard.
