George William Pearce, 65, of Steubenville, OH, passed away October 23, 2017, at Trinity Medical Center West ER, Steubenville, OH.
He was born April 9, 1952, in Steubenville, OH, a son of the late George E. and Mabel (Thomas) Pearce.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by birth mother, Marylou Queen and infant brother, John Edward Queen.
He retired from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp..
George was Christian by faith. He was a volunteer fireman and EMT for the Smithfield Fire Department. George was an avid sports fan of Big Red football and band. George was a volunteer coach for Grant football and Steuben Striders.
He is survived by his wife, Deborah Pearce of Steubenville; daughter, Kristen (Robert) Christian of Steubenville; sisters, Cheryl Irvin of Mingo Junction, OH, and Kathleen Vincent of Gahanna, OH; grandchildren, Malik, Isaiah, Anastasia, Destynasia, E’Laysia, Ja’Zier, and Jay’Zeon Christian; nephew, George Irvin, Jr. of Mingo Junction, OH; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Friends will be received at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Rd., Wintersville on Friday from 10 a.m. until time of funeral services at 1 p.m. with Pastor George Irvin, Jr. officiating.
