Carol Lee Scott, 83, passed away Saturday, Jan. 13, 2018, at her residence at Ingleside at King Farm in Rockville, MD. She was surrounded by her loving family and beloved Ingleside caregiving staff.
Carol (“Kiki”) was born Aug. 10, 1934, in Stratton, OH, daughter of the late Curtis Henry and Wanda Mihalik (Dunlap).
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert; her daughter, Claudia (Wayne) Hizer; her sister, Barbara (Robert) Koehnlein; and her brother, Rodney (Janice) Henry.
She is survived by daughters, Karen (David) Conrad and Denese (James Griffin) Scott; grandchildren, Cara Hizer (Tim) Wojton and Scott Hizer; great-grandchildren, Eric (Janine) Brickett and Kayleigh (John) Matus; four great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Jackie (Richard) Sachs and Shirley (Michael) Bodnar; and many nieces and nephews.
A public memorial service will be held Monday, Feb. 12, 2018, at 11 a.m. at Ingleside at King Farm, 701 King Farm Blvd., Rockville, MD, 20850, with a reception to follow.
An internment of ashes and celebration of life will be held in the Spring of 2018 in Ohio.
