Ralph Waggoner

Ralph James “Jimmy” Waggoner, 69, passed away Sunday, August 26, 2018 at the West Penn Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA.

He was born October 31, 1948 in Steubenville, OH.

Jimmy was a member of the Knoxville Holiness Chapel, Knoxville, OH; loved his church; loved to fish and go camping; was a graduate of the Jefferson Union High School and was an avid Pittsburgh Pirates, Steelers and Penguins fan. He loved and was proud of his family and loved his dog, Kujo.

He was retired from the Hall China Company after 30 years of employment.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph Waggoner in 1994 and Hazel (Holland) Waggoner in 2010; sister, Evelyn J. “Cookie” Blevins in 2008 and brother, Daniel Allen Waggoner in 2018.

He is survived by his daughters, Connie Wright of Toronto, OH and Kathy Smith of Mingo Jct.,OH; grandchildren, James (Nikki) Wright of Toronto OH, Anna (Danielle) Humphreys of Toronto, OH, Clayton Baker and fiance, Deszahrae Carter of Toronto, OH and Kera Baker of Toronto, OH and great- grandchildren, Hunter and Jack Wright; brothers, Steven Warren (Marie) Waggoner and David Paul (Tina) Waggoner all of Toronto, OH.

Visitation hours for Jimmy will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday, August 31 at the Clarke Funeral Home, 302 Main St., Toronto, OH.

A Celebration service of Jimmy’s life will be held 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Reverends Tim and Sarah Zimmerman officiating.

The family suggests in lieu of flowers, that those coming to Jimmy’s visitation and/or funeral, if they wish, wear Pittsburgh Pirate, Steeler or Penguin apparel.
