Pa. man arraigned in brother’s shooting death

WASHINGTON, Pa. (AP) – A western Pennsylvania man has been charged with criminal homicide in the death of his brother, a West Virginia resident.

According to published reports, 46-year-old Robert Bauduin of Jefferson Township was arraigned Thursday on the charge in Washington County.

Authorities allege that he shot 47-year-old Richard Bauduin Jr. of Colliers, in the head Nov. 30. Police said officers were called to the home by the brothers’ father.

Investigators allege that the defendant told them that he had been arguing for most of the day with his brother and father and finally went to sleep.

They said he told them he sleeps with a shotgun due to break-ins in the area and picked up the weapon and fired when he heard the door to his room open.
