Cooking school offers something for everyone
Whether you are an experienced cook or just starting to test the waters, there is still time to check out the Taste of Home Cooking School, set for Tuesday night at the Serbian-American Cultural Center.
Hosted by this newspaper, and organized by Taste of Home magazine with support from many local and national sponsors, this event always brings in a great crowd for an evening of culinary fun.
This year’s show will feature the return of culinary specialist Cheryl Cohen, and include a variety of seasonal dishes prepared on stage.
The show will begin at 7 p.m., with doors to the venue opening at 4:30 p.m., providing guests with plenty of time to browse numerous local vendors and displays, collect their goody bags, enter for a chance at several possible prizes and relax before the event gets under way.
The Taste of Home Cooking School has become somewhat of a spring tradition for our communities, with hundreds attending each year, making it a true community event.
This event would not be possible without the support of our local sponsors, which include Weirton Medical Center, Create-A-Room, M&M Hardware, Steubenville Wal-Mart and Frank and Jerry’s Furniture and Appliance.
There is still some time to get your tickets, if you haven’t done so already, so we encourage you to act quickly and come out Tuesday evening for the Taste of Home Cooking School.
We look forward to seeing everyone there.
