Action needed on stretch of road
To the editor:
On Feb. 23, I wrote a letter about my sister-in-law being hit by a car while crossing county Road 22A just outside of Wintersville in January (“Lights could make difference.”)
I also mentioned that several other people had been hit there and either seriously hurt of killed. Well, it happened again almost one month to the day my sister-in-law got hit. This time the person lost his life.
What’s it going to take to get street lights installed on that small stretch of road? How many more people are going to be seriously hurt or killed? I think its time for someone to check into this and have lights installed before another person is hit. Someone please take notice of this problem and see what can be done about having street lights installed. It would be well worth saving someone’s life.
