Time for Ohio to move ahead

To the editor:

The time has come for Ohio Democrats to stop standing in the way of Ohio’s progress. They continuously work to kill Ohio jobs by opposing efforts to balance the budget, cut taxes and streamline regulations.

Democrats like Ted Strickland presided over Ohio losing more than 400,000 jobs, so its not as if they have any credibility when it comes to job creation.

However, not only do they ignore that colossal failure, they continue to serve only as naysayers. Whenever their political opponents introduce new ideas that focus on job creation, such as Gov. John Kasich’s JobsOhio program or his 2011 budget, which balanced an $8 billion shortfall without raising taxes, or even his innovative new education plan, they attack it.

Ohio Democrats are so high on their victory in the presidential election they will stop at nothing to smear their political opponents. It’s time for the media and the public to hold them accountable for their lack of leadership and new ideas.
