Music Fest 1.0 a success
To the editor:
We, at Praise His Name, would like to thank the Tri-State Area for making our Music Fest 1.0 a success. The attendance and love offering exceeded our expectations.
Many thanks to the members of Bell Chapel United Methodist Church for the free use of their church; the Bell Chapel Women’s Association for the wonderful baked goods sold to all; the Rev. Jeff Proya for his support and opening prayer; and Lori Smith, the go-to girl, for all of her help before and after. Also, thanks to performers On A High Note, Dan Pinciaro, Friends, Dave Byers, Steve Powell and Paul Feist and Led by Mercy for their excellent donation of music to lift the spirits and praise God; to Ohio Valley Audio and Earl Tuttle for the audio equipment as well as performing; and the Rev. Bob Welch for our closing prayer.
A huge thank you to our supporters, Genesis Steel Corp., the William Penn Association, Clinical Counseling Associates, Mosti Funeral Homes, Country Crafts from the Heart, Two Brothers Dry Cleaning, WOGH-FM, Janice Kiaski with the Herald-Star and Hester Wilson.
We would also like to thank our board and volunteers, Dave and Amy Dalton, Jim and Brittany Lamp and Jeremy and Michelle Wilson for spreading the word, distributing fliers and doing whatever was needed.
We are already working on Music Fest 2.0 for next year. Several artists have approached us about performing.
Remember to visit www.praisehisname.net to hear Christian music from all over the country and keep up with our events.
Thank you to all again, and God bless.
