Rallies will help Wounded Warriors

To the Editor,

On June 15th, three local TEA Party/Patriot groups held a “Defending Our Faith, Flag and Freedom” Rally at the parking lot of Treasure Island Flea Market.

We, the members of Steubenville for Liberty, Eastern Ohio Concerned Citizens (Harrison Co. TEA Party) and the American Patriot Council-Washington/Jefferson/Hancock Chapter wish to thank Derek Ferguson and Treasure Island for the use of the their lot.

We thank Victor Roth, for use of the flatbed trailer for our stage. We also wish to thank Prof. Tony Salinski, Toni Blake, Lynne Modranski, Rev. Hombre Liggett and Glenn Gray, for their words of wisdom and insight on issues important to concerned, patriotic Americans.

Over Memorial Day weekend, the three groups held two simultaneous roadside rallies, to collect donations for the Wounded Warrior Project. In Steubenville, at the corner of Sunset and John Scott, Steubenville for Liberty and the Eastern Ohio Concerned Citizens raised $1,121; in Weirton, at Penco and Pennsylvania, the APC-W/J/H collected $267.

We thank Eastern Gateway Community College for use of their parking lot; we thank all those who turned out in support, and all those who generously donated their hard-earned money, to assist our wounded defenders.

God bless you all, and God bless America.

Rob Denham
