Thanks for help with pageant

To the editor:

I am the 17-year-old daughter of Heather and Steven Lucas of Steubenville and was chosen as a state finalist in the National American Miss Ohio Teen Pageant held the weekend of June 30-31.

I placed second runner-up out of 97 girls. This entitles me to compete in the national pageant that will be held in Anaheim, Calif., in November. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of my sponsors who made this opportunity a reality. My list of local businesses, friends and family that sponsored me includes: Sunset Motors Inc. Dodge, Jeep, Chrysler and Volkswagen; Steubenville Country Club; Ronald and Suzy Rousey; Nancy Saggio; Stuff With Attitude; Thomas and Eleanor Kindsvatter; Mary Lynn and John Quattrone; Andrew Cammer; Heather and Steve Lucas; Debra Snider; Barnhouse family; the YMCA of Steubenville; Sensible Uniforms; Aubrey’s Bakery; Dan Daily – Daily Insurance and Financial Services; Shorac Funeral Homes; Judy Hare; Darlene Hennis; Pat Simpson; Paula Waggoner; Tom Hunt and John Smurda.
