Many helped with Oktoberfest

To the editor:

The third-annual Edison Local Oktoberfest committee wishes to thank all participants who helped contribute to making the event so successful. Most of all, thank you to all the students that helped from the FFA, BETA Clubs and athletic teams. You worked together to make memories and help establish an even greater culture.

The Oktoberfest would not be possible if strong community partnerships were absent. A huge thank you to all contributing businesses, you continue to be a key component to Edison’s youth. Thank you to C.A. Joseph’s and Co., Triple J Outfield Services, McClurg’s Auto Shop, Austin Lake, Double M Tree Farm, Knoxville Carryout, Nickles Bakery, Ohio Catering, Johnson’s White Bear, Crow Rental Properties, Williams Country Club and Fuelwood Solutions Mobile Firewood Processing and Sales.

The following townships also helped to create a wonderful atmosphere by contributing their time and vehicles – Saline, Irondale, Unionport, Richmond, East Springfield and Pleasant Hill. We know that in the following years our partners will grow and the students will continue to create memories.
