Annual Laman party a success
To the editor:
Despite some setbacks and threatening weather, the 34th-annual Ray Laman Children’s Christmas Party, held Dec. 14 at the Wintersville Volunteer Fire Department, was a huge success. All attending enjoyed a sing-along with guitarist Kenny Wells and danced with Rudolph, Frosty, elves and Mrs. Claus before the arrival of Santa. Children received a free photo with Santa, gender-related gift bags and fruit bags. Santa and his helpers also surprised sick children at Trinity Medical Center West following the party.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their generous donations and ask that those reading this will patronize the businesses that helped us.
