CCHS blood drive a success
To the editor:
Your support and participation in the first Catholic Central blood drive on Dec. 4 was much appreciated, especially during the season of giving.
The blood drive was a huge success, with 34 total donated units. Many who wanted to donate blood could not donate blood because the turnout was much more than the Red Cross had expected. The Key Club of CCHS, which was in charge of the blood drive, thanks the faculty, staff and community members of Catholic Central and Steubenville who generously donated their blood for a great cause. We hope to continue having blood drives at CCHS in the future, and giving the gift that could save someone’s life to those who need it.
We also hope that all of you will continue to support the future service endeavors of CCHS.
We express much gratitude.
