Basic care for all needed

To the editor:

If you don’t like Obamacare, remember it was the hospitals, doctors and insurance industry that brought it about. For decades, they were too quick to recommend expensive medical procedures with no regard for who’s paying or the outcome.

Even without Obamacare, we would get those “death panels,” but they’ll be run by hospitals and insurers. Hospitals can’t continue to let patients run up seven-figure bills. What we need is basic national health care for all.
