PTA appreciative of support

To the Editor,

Hooverson Heights Primary School PTA recently hosted a quarter auction fundraiser. Our PTA is blessed to have the support of hard working teachers, staff, parents, grandparents and local businesses who hare always willing to help in any way we ask.

We would like to thank Mike and Jill Bachinski, Patti Stafford, Sue Moore, Becky Merriner, Verna Tarr, Norma Tarr, Carla Stone, Debbie Taylor, Tammy Jackson, Mr. O’Meara, Marylu Zuk, Lisa Myers of I-Do Photography, Scavati’s, Follansbee Flower Shop, Crown of Gold, Follansbee Pharmacy, Designs by WE, The BBQ House, Sheila’s Wings, The Hair Shoppe, Sky Zone, Dee Jays, Dina Lahita, DeFelice Brothers, Weirton Kroger, Gus’s Goodies, Lyles Auto, Spicy Gringo’s, Stuff with Attitude (Follansbee), Hancock County Savings Bank, Unique Walls and Ceilings, Brooke County Planning Commission, Steubenville Electrical LMCC and Howdy’s Dairy Owl for their generous contributions, Damian Campbell, K-Lee Whitman, Austin Tennant, Emily Brucchi, Nick Brucchi, Allie Myers and Paige Myers for volunteering as quarter runners and those fourth grade Hooverson Heights students who were our prize runners.

We would like to extend a special thanks to Monsignor Hudok and the staff at St. Francis Center (Carol, Darryl and Jim) for their hard work and guidance in making our event run smoothly.

Every cent that we raise is 100 percent for the benefit of our students and we are extremely grateful to have the support of so many wonderful people in our community. Fundraising is always hard work, but when you see the smiles of delight on those beautiful faces, you know it was a job well done.
