25-Year Club picnic a success

To the Editor,

The Weirton Steel 25-Year Club Committee would like to thank all of the sponsors and workers who helped to make this year’s picnic possible.

The picnic was held July 21 at the Serbian Picnic Grounds. It was very well attended, with about 450 co-workers and retirees. They shared their stories about the good old days in the mill.

Finally, Vice President Brenda Ice and I want to thank all of the members who came out to help set up and make this event a success. This would not be possible without the help that each of you provide. We hope to continue this tradition and look forward to seeing you in the following year.
