Going on Vacation

July 18, 2008 - Summer Wallace-Minger

So, I'm blogging once a week, but I won't be here next week.

This counts as next week's blog. Maybe you should wait until Monday to read it. Or not; it's probably not worth waiting for.

We'll be taking some daytrips. Idlewild, a Pittsburgh Pirates game (where hopefully the kids will get to run the bases and enjoy some time in the moon bounce at ethnicity day) and a play just for the long-suffering one and I.

I'd like to try to make the drive-in, but the kids want to see "Dark Knight." I don't know about that, because I've heard it's super scary. I guess I'll have to catch the review which I am sure will hit fellow reporter Gio Rossi's movie review blog, "Rated Rossi."

Maybe we'll even manage to visit the Carnegie. I'd like to do the Warhol, actually, because I'm excited about their Robot 250 exhibit. They have a giant foam-rubber hand on top of the building that you can get to point at you by hitting a button at a kioski in different areas of the city. I find that very cool.

Any way, that's what I'll be doing while I'm not here. I'll also be cleaning the tub, refrigerator and toliets. Spring cleaning, yes! I can't wait! Honestly, I can't. My house will be so clean. I am excited.
