Chill out, drivers

August 12, 2008 - Paul Giannamore

As I've gotten older and obtained a driver's ed-guy license, I've noticed that it's OK to drive in the slow lane.

Except it's also caused me to notice something else:

To the guy in the tan 2000 Dodge Neon who decided it was worth it to pass me as he merged from Route 22 onto Route 7 by getting on my bumper, then passing me to the left, then veering across two lanes of traffic to get into the lanes heading onto the Veterans Memorial Bridge, YOU'RE AN IDIOT!

To the kid in the Chevy who loves to tailgate me as I drive through Toronto, I THINK I KNOW YOUR PARENTS!

To the older guy in the Impala who thinks it's cool to turn his 1-point-21-jigawatt stereo up to full while driving just ahead of me so that I cannot hear my own stereo, IT'S NOT COOL WHEN WE'RE OLD AND BALD TO CRANK THE STEREO! TRUST ME. ASK ANY KID!!!

I plan to spend the next few blog entries updating the bad drivers log. Just calling them as I see them. Hope not to see you here.
