Soccer not for America

Many of people have tried and keep trying to make soccer a popular sport in America. Many and Many more people will fail unless the rules of the game change. America likes fast paced action sports. Soccer is so slow and sometimes the scores are 1 - 0 at the end of regulation. Hockey has that problem too but you also have fights and other things going on.

I know how soccer can become more popular in the states but it won't happen. First, you need to shorten the field. I say cut it down by a third in length or more. Second, remove one or two players from the playing field. Third, eliminate a lot of the dumb penalties that someone gets for being more powerful or aggressive than the other guy going for the ball.. Too many crybabies in soccer. You can see a guy go down after he missed a header and he will stay on the ground for 3 minutes. Get up wimp and keep playing.

If soccer would ever do those few things then Americans could get into the sport a little more.
