| | Own ItAugust 9, 2010 - Jeremy JohnsPride is a funny thing. I take pride in my work, my work ethic and anything that I claim as mine. Pride will take you to the mountain tops of emotion. Pride can get confused with ego. Everyone has an ego of some degree. I am trying to figure out mine. When someone lets me know I made a mistake I often defend myself until I check into the alleged mistake myself. Is this my pride or ego talking? I take pride in what I do so I want to make sure that it was my mistake before OWNING IT. Does my ego jump in and cause me to get defensive when someone tells me of my mistake? I know that I am the first to OWN my mistake when it is a mistake that I discovered first.
Ego or Pride? Either way, I should accept my mistakes and take notes so that I do not make them again. Is it the male ego or just my ego? When I'm right, I'm right. When I'm wrong I could of been right so if I could of been right then I'm right even when I'm wrong. Right?
