I ain't scared of no ghost!

August 27, 2010 - Jeremy Johns

Do you remember Ghost Busters? If you don't then you may be too young for this blog. Anywayz, I can remember the first time I saw Ghost Busters the movie and being hooked. I was hooked, but for a different reason than everyone else in the room. Yeah, it had it's comical moments and PG action flick moments but I was intrigued by the ghosts. People have grappled for years with what's real, supernatural, God, Not God, Spirits or whatever. No one really has a hard fact that solidifies a claim one way or the other.

I personally believe in ghosts. I don't believe in ghosts in the way that they follow someone around and try to harm them. I believe in a way that ghosts are trapped between life and death. Ghosts do not have a memory of a grown up but more a toddler or young child type memory. At least that is how I like to believe it. I think ghosts will repeat actions over and over and have no recollection of the previous action. They have one task that needs done and unfortunately it never gets completed. At least in the ghosts mind it never does.

The real reason I started on the topic of ghosts is because I am excited that one my favorite shows is back on tv with new episodes. GHOST HUNTERS!!!!!!! You can catch Ghost Hunters on the SciFi channel at 9 p.m. on Wednesdays. Jay and Grant are the creators of TAPS(the name of their ghost hunting group/company) and they use high-tech equipment to catch EVP's(voices that humans can't hear), ghostly figures moving(usually shadows that vanish into thin air), objects moving on their own and rarely but just as exciting they catch someone getting pushed or slapped.
