| | We are not outragedJuly 4, 2008 - Mike MathisonYou can call us a lot of things, but those of us who attend Colonial Baptist Church are not outraged about what happend to our building - regardless of what you may have heard. We are saddened by the fire. We feel like we have been collectively kicked in our guts, but we are not outraged. We are saddened because one or more set this fire on purpose. But, we are not outraged. We are looking forward to what God has planned for His church. We are looking forward to the big, beautiful unknown avenues we will travel in the months ahead. what is that to thee? follow thou me. We are not vengeful people. We are thankful people. The amount of love and 'what can we do for you' that has come from inside and outside this community has been beyond words. We appreciate all the well-wishers. We appreciate all the prayers. You know, folks, it's just a building. "To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified." - Isiah 61:3
