Let us connect the dots. Most lawyers are written be either politicians or lobbyist. Most legislators are lawyers. To insure future business, they water down tough laws for repeated business. This explains how someone with their tenth D.U.I get to " Buy " down to a fiest offense courtesy of an attorney. The same for other crimes. If the laws were strict and criminals were to serve yaers rather than probations, lawyers would be out of work. We can't have that!

how much was the bond?

If he is out it was too low for this most terrible of crime.

I guess morals are checked at the door in that court.
