Greetings...I'm Ron Brewington, a Tuskegee Airmen Historian. I noted an article error:
1. Paragraph 11 - "...of the 1000 pilots who were Tuskegee Airmen, only about 500 saw action during the war."
In reality, there were 992 Tuskegee Airmen pilots who graduated from flight training, and 355 fighter pilots saw action during the war.
