Thank you to this judge for the guilty verdict. We hope the brave young victim feels some sense of relief. She is to be commended for her courage in speaking up and taking action to expose this ugly crime. She is making a difference by saying that "rape will not be tolerated".

Let this be a lesson to all you young people out there who think you’re above the law for some reason, your actions have consequences no matter what you think, believe or others tell you. I think they got off light with Richmond 1yr with credit for time served and Mays with 2 yrs and also credit for time served. Both will have to file as a sex offender and check in with the Sheriff's department on a yet to be determined time period for the rest of their lives.
