WEIRTON — Doug Jackson first heard Erin Burkett and Friends while visiting a winery two years ago....

It was not a classy event. It was an event that showed the utter hypocrisy and political favoritism in Weirton. You had a group that was able to get away with the showing complete disregard for the laws of the city. And the fact that the mayor was there makes it all the more obvious that what was going on. I think all the citizens of Weirton should start going to city parks and having wine. I bet they get in trouble. Did the mayor break the city law by having wine at the wine testing? Complete and utter hypocrisy when they don't let any other groups have fundraisers using the sales of alcohol at city parks.

Seems like you're the ONLY person in Weirton complaining. So, what organization do you represent that you feel like you got screwed by not being allowed to SELL alcohol (which didn't happen at Marland Heights last night)?
MAN UP AND NAME YOUR ORGANIZATION. OR ARE YOU JUST COMPLAINING JUST FOR THE SAKE OF COMPLAINING????

JakeCharles96 is likely part of the Park Board, which under Councilman Weigle, Mr. Bowman and Delegate Jones have been harassing the Marland Heights Pool Association for a couple of years now. Public Servants??? What a joke. Notice how bad the community has done over the last 10-20 years and how good these three have done, especially Bowman - he touts his mansions and multiple homes, while our local children die of ****** and other drugs. They should be called Self Servants not Public Servants, and this should be criminal what these local politicians have done to this town.
