First - great news that an Aluminum company will be adding 20+jobs. However, the other 500 is BS - they are temporary, not union, and not valuable for the region. These jobs are building pipelines to remove natural resources with no revenue or jobs to the state. Where is the infrastructure to support any new industries? This piecemeal approach is what our problem is, no strategy, no planning, etc. The News Agencies need to begin asking the hard questions. What is the long term opportunity? 20jobs. Still good, but not 500. Long Term Plan? WVDOH is now stating and accepting that the new industry trucking is damaging the infrastructure/roads/bridges, etc. further. What are these agencies doing for this situation? Let's go Press start asking the hard questions.
